M. Evelyn Bayard-Jodesty, LPN

M. Evelyn Bayard-Jodesty, Treasurer and a Director of the Board for the Brooklyn Nurses Association (BNA), is currently a nurse at the NYC Health + Hospitals Corporation.  Evelyn specializes in rehabilitative nursing and her skills were enhanced by over 7 years of medical-surgical training.  Evelyn holds an Associate Degree in Human Services from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, and is currently pursuing her RN nursing degree at St.  Paul’s School of Nursing. She aspires to take her state board exam in 2018.      

Evelyn, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey is of Haitian descendant and takes the majesty of Jacmel with her wherever she goes.  Yet her current home in Brooklyn, fills her heart with concern for the health and welfare of these communities and the surrounding regions in our great city of New York.  Evelyn is most concerned about public health issues which have a devastating effect on the masses locally and abroad.  Evelyn’s goal is to bring attention to the BNA’s efforts for a more unified Brooklyn by teaching to empower all people of this city to pursue public health and safety on every level. 

Evelyn’s desire is to make a difference in the life of as many citizens as possible through determination, motivation and inspirational guidance.
